Highly Efficient Cogeneration

The production of energy in a biogas electrical power generation facility takes place in a process referred to as highly efficient cogeneration. This consists of simultaneously generating electrical power and usable heat, in order to realize savings in the primary energy utilized by the cogeneration unit (engine + electrical generator) of no less than 10%, compared to generating electrical power and heat in separate facilities).
